History

Born in Perth, the capital of Australia’s “Mining State” Western Australia, Sensear has been focused on the Mining industry since its inception in 2006. During the Research and Development stage, Sensear worked with some of Australia’s leading mining companies to ensure its products met the stringent demands of mining company high noise environments. From the rugged exterior of the device casing to the requirement to restrict noise in the ear to 82dB, Sensear products satisfy the requirements and certifi cations of the world’s leading mining companies and their many locations around the globe.

Sensear Smart Muff Range is the only communication and hearing protection system that includes the groundbreaking SENS™ technology which simultaneously isolates and enhances speech while suppressing harmful background noise. With a host of communication options, the Smart Muff Range provides a total high noise communication solution for high noise environments from face-to-face, to short distance and long distance via two-way radio and Bluetooth cell phone.

SENS™ technology uniquely adapts to every high noise environment including impact, tonal and constant noise to deliver an effective communication option for users. Further, because Sensear lowers background noise to a safe level, users maintain situational awareness which is critical for safety. Featuring rugged design for heavy duty and general use, the Smart Muff Range are simple to use, comfortable communication devices that allow clear communication beyond 85dB(A) via face to face, two-way or mobile phone without the need to
remove hearing protection.

Combining Bluetooth technology with advanced SENS™ technology, the SM1x and SM1xSR earmuff offers the highest level of voice communication available on the market, with optimized hearing and speech clarity when used with mobile phones. Offering all the features of the SM1x with the exception of Bluetooth® mobile phone connectivity, the SM1 is a premium product at a competitive price for those who do not require Bluetooth® functionality. If you simply require the ability to hear speech face to face then the SM is the right product to separate speech from background noise.
