This radio is capable of operating in analogue mode to cater for existing mine systems & also capable of P25 digital trunking which will be implemented at many mines in coming years. As P25 is an evolving standard RCS recommends the radios are purchased with the basic analogue configuration until sites have determined their system configurations, this ensures any future enhancements can be included when these systems become operational.
